Thanks Amrita, love books and the wonderful paintings. Looks very interesting!

This is not a "Rare" Book so to say. In the sense this is a widely read currently available form Motilal Banarasidass. AShtadhyaayi of Panini is the semminal work on Sanskrit Grammar. It is the pivot around which all Sanskrit Learning proceeds to this day. The style of expression used by the Maharishi is extrememly cryptic, and needs elaborate explanation to be understood in its true sense.Without a Guru it is next toimpossible to get a hang of what is being said. But should you have a the right kind of teacher, and once you are thorugh with it, rest of your life would be spent praising genius of Panini Maharshi ad nauseum. I am a living example. This particular book is an English Translation by Acharya Srisha Chandra Vasu of the Asthadhyayi with" Kaashikaa" by Vamana and Jayaditya(again an all-time favorite of mine).Kaashikaa leaves the Panianian order of sutras un disturbed and expounds the same in the spirit of the Grat Rishi Panini. Than RBSI, for putting up this on FB and tempting me to wax eloquent, go overboard revelling in the greatness, genius and grandeur of MaharShi Panini paying him tributes just one day befor Gurupoornima! Jayatu PanininirmaharShiH! Jayatu gairvANI!jayatAM vAmanajayAdityau!

Such an eloquent expression of gratitude to Panini. Thank you Mahadeva Sarma.

You are welcome!

this is book 6, where are the other volumes, i could not find them at all!
