Uncoloured aquatint by John Wells (fl.1792-1809) after a drawing on the spot by Captain Elisha Trapaud (1750-1828) of the 'North view of Miaveram Choultry in the Tanjore Country' in Tamil Nadu, part of a set of his twenty views published in London in 1788.
