O, thank you! At the moment I am reading 'The Clay Cart' as published by The Clay Sanskrit Library. (There's a copy here at the State Library of Victoria.) The foreword has some interesting tidbits as to who King Shudraka might have been, and the speculation that perhaps it wasn't Shudraka who wrote this play but that the later redactors dedicated the play to his name, etc.
