I did not know the story either! Remarkable!

Bravo!

Many of us buy & collect rare books. What is special about you Subbiah , is that you're that rare person who is sharing these rare books & that too for free, breaking the commercial hold of these auction houses, antiquarian book dealers & book publishers. Real Saraswati-putra ...

I totally second Ratnesh Mathur. Thankyou for your work and Happy Diwali :)

It's lovely how you share Subbiah. I keep a close watch on your posts. Thank you!

Thank you : )

Thanks for sharing. Great to know about you. Too bad the article veered off to other topics: only the first paragraph was about you. All the best!

Thank you for sharing this article. Always enjoyed RBSI ..thank you once again for uploading rare books that too free of charge for interested readers . Happy Diwali .

Wow! Thank you for sharing!

Whatever is shared on RBSI is freely available in the public domain. These books have already been digitised by some great institutions. We only create a theme, a context and explore a new subject with reference to rare books and allied paintings and art and present it at RBSI in a manner that appeals to us. The intent is that the books and accompanying images must speak for themselves and the reader should develop a nuanced attitude in order to understand the many layers of Indian history in a gradual manner. The idea is to create a greater awareness of these books and also encourage people to collect and preserve rare books. But what is truly heartening is the manner in which RBSI has evolved into a huge community of rare book collectors, amateur historians, book lovers, artists and professionals of every kind with a membership from 92 countries.

Thanks a lot. A very good effort indeed.

Bless you for sharing what you have and procure for us. Thank You .
