A portrait of an officer kneeling with a sword across his knees dressed in white with a red and yellow turban and patka, a shield at his side
Company School, Delhi, circa 1830

This fine portrait bears a resemblance to the Company School portraits commissioned by James and William Fraser in Delhi between 1815 and 1820.
