A red tent? That is a palanquin.

Looks like a portable tent with two handle bars at each upper side. Almost resembels a palanquin. Perhaps out for a picnic. A woman grilling meat on fire. beautiful details.

This is a palanquin. The palanquin carriers are seated behind. The Prince who had probably come on horseback has met his lover, the princess. The hawk is more symbolic here of their meeting. His horses and men are stationed far behind the palanquin. The cook is grilling meat for them. It was common in those days for the royals and the rich to camp near water sources, eat and rest.
