sometime ago I happened to pick up Deepak Chopra's book on Buddha .I had to drop reading the book for its sloppy treatment of 'birth of buddha' in the initial chapters ..he seems to have never bothered to read the above while doing research for his book on the Buddha- how ancient Indians grappled with pregnancy and delivery related matters..
