1785 ! I love it.

what seem to be the minarets almost touching the cloudy sky, nudging the heavy clouds to send some rain down. beautiful

The water looks blue too!

All that we have lost !

Is City of Oud Ayodhya? or Lucknow - Awadh?

@ Punit Dhandhania. Oudh is the Anglicized name for Awadh region which includes Lucknow, Ayodhya, Faizabad & Sultanpur.

I have seen the Grand Babri Masjid, which is no more there,ALAS ! the BIGOTRY,has destroyed the historical monument.

Mr. Khan, it was BIGOTRY which built that Mosque in the first place. Which mosque in the world has the foundations of an ancient temple and built on a site revered as equivalent to Mecca by the Hindus? Food for thought for you perhaps?

Wasnt Oud awadh? Yani Lucknow?

Achintya Nath so should we perpetuate hate? If as you say it was bigotry it was responded in kind hundreds of years later as well, no better.
