Indra, chief of the gods and the guardian of the east, on his elephant, Airavata. The god is golden-skinned, four-armed, wearing royal garments, jewellery and a crown. In two hands he holds an elephant-goad (ankusa) and in the other two he holds short swords with wavy blades.
Inscription:
'Davaindron on White elephant going to fight with his adversary.'
