Ingenuous trap...

Devgarh Thikana near Udaipur produced the two foremost painters which Rajasthan ever saw- Bagta and his son, Chokha. Their paintings are regarded as masterpieces of not only Rajasthani, but Indian painting in general. They were active in the the early part of the 19th century. Earlier this year a work by Bagta appeared at an auction house in New York.
