Thanks for the link. I noticed that some of the first pages were mis-scanned so had a look to see if google books had a version to download. They did not. But I ran into this huge download(over 150mb) of a general cyclopedia from the late 19th century that may be of interest to some. A couple of hints for those new to free google books: -use chrome browser only(others often will not get free download successfully). -HOVER your cursor over the red rectangle "EBOOK-FREE" -do NOT click. From the drop-down menu select PDF.

My link is for volume 2 of a four volume set. Have to hunt around for the rest. Lots of great maps and illustrations!

Interesting to note that this book now resides at ( and presumably been has been made available on the internet by ) the University of California - a U.S. state that is famous for the enormous number of oranges that is grows every year, and where such horticultural matters are no doubt of great interest... However, I'm not so sure that many people in the West are aware that after Brazil and the United States , India cultivates more oranges than anywhere else on Earth ( twice as many as Spain for example) , and the gap in production is narrowing rapidly ... In 2005 Brazil produced 17.9 million tonnes of oranges - primarily one assumes for export - while the U.S. and India produced 8.4 and 3.3 million tonnes respectively ... In 2010, however, the figures were Brazil (18.1) , U.S. (7.5), India (6.0 - ie. almost doubling in only 5 years !)....
