This is a valuable book. This compilation of Tipu's correspodence throws authentic information on his administration and war mechanism. This book has not been reprinted as far as I know, except some letter available at Calcutta Library are compiled and published a few years ago. I had seen one original copy of this book in Mysore with gilt edges and floral border for each page of content. This book may be with the City Central Library, Mysore. One of the pages has the signature of Hyder Ali Khan!

Tipu's moustache must be unique of its kind in the world!
