Quite remarkable how he managed a team of about five hundred translators/linguists to create the Buddhist canons in Chinese, thereby also contributing to scripting standards in Chinese. Apart from his scholarship in several languages and knowledge of Buddhist texts and doctrines. Surely a prodigy.
