While visiting Sri Lanka about 20 years ago, I inquired about the legend of Ravana from a senior scientist (Secretary of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science) in Colombo. He told me there is absolutely no evidence for that in Lankan history. I was left confused. Can someone please clarify?
Sushil: Please tell me the history of Ravana from authentic sources, but keep out the religious part as it is a sensitive matter. Did he really have an airport as you state above? Regards.
