This page comes from an 18th-century folding cloth book of religious and mythological oil-colour paintings, copied from originals in the Brahmanical Pagoda of Chokalingam at Madhura in Karnataka.

Jai Narsinghadev! Such a beautiful painting! One of my favorite stories from Srimad Bhagvatam during my childhood.
The rich colours and gold work indicate it is Tanjore style work coming from Madurai area.
