Probably Chanderi or Maheshwari sari

it is indeed a Chanderi.

Maharani Chimnabai's sustained efforts in the direction of upliftment of women and their emacipation especially towards female education places her as the very first social reformer among India's female royalty.

her grand daughter gayatri devi of jaipur, nee cooch behar, had another illustrious grandmother in suniti devi, daughter of the brahmo leader keshub chandra sen; chimnabai was an excellent shot at shikar and was also partial to gambling tables lol

Well Maharani Chimnabai scandalised Queen Victoria when she turned around. She was wearing the Nav-vari sari (just as in the above picture) and the queen was aghast because the maharani appeared as though she was wearing trousers. Women in Victorian , Edwardian or even Geogian England Never wore pants.
