Thanks RBSI for posting this rare work and this rare picture ! It is Maharaja of Mysore Nalvadi Krishna Raja Wadiyar who has made one of those rare personal visits outside the state. It is not surprising since Mysore state was known for its pioneering efforts in Hydro Electric Power Generation & Transmission ! In addition, the House of Tata had very close relationship with the Maharaja due to their enduring projects in Bangalore like Indian Institute of Science & Tata Silk Farm .
