i bought the printed edition 3 years ago and is probably the best book i have ever bought. I urge people who can afford, to buy it to support the publisher and the author. It is available from MLBD bookstores. It is thoroughly researched and truly a treasure trove of Puranic stories and references.

The Mysore University Prasaranga (Publication wing) has published a similar puranic encyclopaedia in Kannada, "Purananama Choodamani". All those who can read Kannada, they should buy this book without fail, for references to Puranic names.

This is terrific..i may also get to know the meanings of some beautiful but unusual names from this as sometimes its difficult to trace the origin of that name...
